How best to start the day!
I’ve always been a fan of breakfast...I like to think it’s a way of opening the new day and it’s a moment in which I always allow myself something sweet (which during the rest of the day I tend - or try – to avoid).
Breakfast consists of 2 elements: to drink and eat. Here are some simple suggestions:
TO DRINK
Your favourite herbal tea
tea
soya / rice/ oat/ almond /hazelnut/ cashew milk.....
coffee, cappuccino with vegetable milk, barley....
extracts or homemade fruit juice
freshly squeezed orange juice and other citrus fruits
Frappé - milk shake - smoothie - shakes (they can be prepared with a base of vegetable milk or vegetable yoghurt or vegetable ice cream and you can add fresh fruit)
And in all of this try avoid sugar
for those who want to EAT LIGHT
Soya yoghurt with fresh fruit and mixed seeds
Fruit salad with yoghurt or a little ice cream
toast (or bread with seeds) with sugar free jam
nice cream (ice cream substitute with blended bananas)
'pan con tomate' Spanish recipe with toasted bread and grated fresh tomato, oil and a little salt

for those who want NOURISHMENT
Pancakes with almond or hazelnut cream
Oat porridge, with dried fruit
Rice pudding, enriched with hazelnut or almond cream
Sandwiches with chickpea porridge and vegetables
for those with a SWEET tooth
Pancakes with chocolate spread
Chocolate muffins
pancakes or crepes with strawberries and cream

for those who prefer SAVOURY

bread with chickpea porridge or with hummus or spreadable soya, etc.
