CELERIAC FINGERS
Ingredients
1 celeriac
Chickpea flour (for the batter)
water
Breadcrumbs
Oil and salt
Method
- Remove the rind of the washed celeriac and its roots, then cut into slices of about 1 cm. in height.
- Boil the slices in boiling water for a few minutes (max. 8-10 minutes).
- Meantime, prepare the batter with 1 cup of chickpea flour mixed with a cup and a half of water.
- Drain the celeriac fingers, dip into the batter, then the breadcrumbs. Salt, drizzle with oil and cook in the oven at 180°C until they turn golden.
They go very well with the mayonnaise (LINK).
